art.les.nyc studios is very excited to host Gemini Fest 2008. The festivities will take place Friday, May 30th at the studios outdoor lounge at 202 Rivington Street at 7p.m.
The 2nd annual event will be an opportunity for long time supporters and for those who have not been able to attend one of the shows, to experience the studios in an intimate and interactive setting. Gemini Fest 2008 will showcase The Dorothy Painting, a new piece by founding artist Aaron Thompson. In addition, those who were not able to come to the 1237 Steps show in the beginning of the month will have a second opportunity to check it out. 20,000 Leagues on the Sea, a collaborative piece between Aaron Thompson, Tony Santana, and Eluria will be on display all season at the Jamaican Outdoor Lounge.
Gemini Fest 2008 kicks off Memorial Day weekend, and will feature live music and Grog-n-Scrod Sangria (at a $3 suggested donation). There will be no cover charge and is open to the public.
