For Hallowseen 2007, founding artist Aaron Thompson introduces his new series "Pirates of the Lower East side." Presenting: an urban vision of skeleton pirates, piLiaging and rumbling aboard their trash-trucks through the post-apocalyptic night of Lower Manhattan. This 8-foot by 8-foot canvas announces a narrative series of smaller works depicting the blight and despair experienced by the modern citizen in the harshness of today's urban environment.
